Part of our team recently had an exciting three weeks in Fiji working to achieve three key goals. We were fortunate enough to be working collaboratively with the University of the South Pacific (USP) and the Nadroga Navosa Provincial Council.
We successfully achieved the following the objectives.
1. Verify findings and produce dissemination materials for research conducted in Vusama village in January, 2016
2. Collect data via social value mapping and 3D drone mapping with villages around the Sigatoka River related to Mikayla Cover's honours research
3. Meet with the community of Nawairuku where Renee will be conducting her data collection field season June - August.
We look forward to continuing to build our working relationships in Fiji over the coming months and beyond.
